“Crossing” is a part of Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) Situated Creative Practice projects where students in their final year of Fine Arts work collaboratively to create an interdisciplinary project.

I collaborated with other students on an animated film named “Crossing”. The short film is about a tiny guy named Mr. Soybean. He lives in a world where regular-sized humans and tiny guys, like himself, must co-exist. Every morning Mr. Soybean commutes to work and must walk across the pedestrian crossing. This day a rude human appears and carelessly throws rubbish onto the street. Is Mr. Soybean able to cross the road and dodge the obstacles that are about to crush him?

So far during the project, I have worked as a Storyboard Artist, Environment & Prop Designer, Texture Artist, and Layout Artist. “Crossing” is currently under production but is planned to be finalized in February 2023.
